The Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC) is an interdisciplinary and international association of professionals dedicated to the resolution of family conflict. AFCC members are the leading practitioners, researchers, teachers, and policymakers in the family court arena. The British Columbia Chapter of the AFCC achieved provisional status in 2023

released the BC Parenting Plan Guide (the “Guide”) to help families formulate parenting plans that are child focused and developmentally appropriate. The Guide was adapted from the AFCC – Ontario Chapter where it is widely used by family law professionals, parents, and the Courts in Ontario The Guide may be used or copied without charge.
